Here is Why Spiderman No Way home will fail. The Spiderman Curse

Spiderman: No Way Home, will release in a matter of months. However people are already hyped for the movie, even without the release of a trailer. However, Sadly, this movie and everything we know about it, is setting itself up for failure. Spiderman No Way home will fall under the Spiderman curse, simply because of its execution. We’ve actually seen this happen twice before. So why exactly will the movie fail and what is the Spiderman Curse, all these details are below.

The Spiderman Curse :

The Spiderman Curse has previously affected two other movies. These being Spiderman 3 (Tobey Maguire) and The Amazing Spiderman 2 (Andrew Garfield). During the production and writing of these movies, their independent teams had bit off more they could chew. Trying to juggle multiple storylines and Characters. In Spiderman 3, this was Venom, Sandman and Baby Goblin. Which all came together to make a mess of a movie that was overstuffed and under acted.

In The Amazing Spiderman 2, this was again Baby Goblin, Electro, The sinister six, the death of Gwen Stacy and the search for Peters parents secrets. This movie was more of a mess than Spiderman 3 and completely underwhelmed audiences. The Next movie in each franchise was cancelled and Spiderman was subsequently rebooted. This seems to be the fate of our current Spiderman as well.

Spiderman No Way Home :

From everything we currently know, this new Spiderman movie will juggle multiple stories as well. These stories being the Multiverse, the different Spidermen and the formation of the Sinister six. Leaving us with evidence of another overstuffed movie that will likely leave audiences confused. Being at the center of a multi million dollar relationship with Sony (which is already tense), the new Spiderman may end badly for both studios. Possibly ending their deal, because while Marvel can afford a loss, Sony won’tbe happy with the diminished profits that they are already sharing with Marvel.

Furthermore, both these studios have different plans for Spidermen. With Marvel wanting to buy him off and Sony wanting to create their own shared spiderman universe. A universe that they plan to feature venom and Morbius in as well. So while we wait for the trailer to drop. We have to consider that things won’t go so well for this movie and it will be just another victim of the Spiderman curse. However, this may also be Disney’s Master Plan.

Disney the Superpower :

There has been rumors that as recently popped up surrounding Disney’s plans to buy Sony, just so they can acquire the Spiderman rights. If this seems far fetched, remember that they have done this once already, so that they could get a hold of the X-Men rights. If this movies doesn’t turn a profit for Sony, it could put them in a vulnerable place, giving Marvel the upper hand they need to acquire them. Recently Marvel has been on a roll with their Television series and Movies. A new piece of content has been dropping every month since WandaVision Jump started Phase Four of the MCU.
